It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Sheehan (Queensbury, New York), who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmundo Garcia and Ramona Garcia (Quezada); and her siblings, Elsie and Edmund. She is survived by: her husband Jim Sheehan of Glens Falls; her children, Ron Sparks (Robin) of Hamden, CT, Kim Way (Ken) of Queensbury, NY and Chendell Thomsen (Rob) of Delanson, NY; her grandchildren, Simone Sparks, Shevaun Sparks (Dan), Sydney Sparks, Erica Neale (Jeremy) and Michael Bies; her great grandchildren, Arnez Neale, Xavier Neale and Braylon Neale; her sister Brenda Mortimer (Randy) of Hemet, CA; and her close friend Donna Dillon Giacchetti.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a charitable donation to the organization of your choice or volunteering some time to honor Sylvia's love of children.
