He was predeceased by: his spouse LaVona Butcher; his parents, Clyde Butcher Sr. and Janet Butcher (Ingersoll); his daughter Paula Troutman (Dan); and his siblings, Violet Pickup, Albert, Clyde Jr. and Denzil Butcher.
He is survived by: his close friend Maxine Hoffman; his children, Donald Butcher, Jr. (Pegg), Janise Rhoades (Don), James Butcher (Jerry) and Chaz Coats-Butcher; and his grandchildren, Tara Hayes, Christina Pencek, Casaundra Cramer, Brandon Neumeister, Brianne'Schoonmaker, Tiffany Farnham, Danielle Arnone, Sean Butcher, Kourtney Almeida, Justina Young, Nicole Rogowsky, Cody Troutman and Lila Kober. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
All memorials can be made in lieu of the Shiners Hospital in Erie, PA and/or Roswell Park Institute.
