He is survived by: his parents, Debbie Abromavich Sample (late Ronald Sample) of Randolph and Juan Mendez Sr. of California; his caregiver Debbie Abromavich-Sample of Randolph; his children, Jacob and Kayla Mendez of Greenville, SC; his siblings, Leilani Callahan, Kevin R. Callahan and Robert Mendez; and his stepsiblings, Kathy Sample and Chris Ecker.
