She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank L. Firster and Nina M. Firster (Powers); her sister Arthada "Butch" Firster; and her husband William L. Hickox. She is survived by: her children, Susan L. Cox of Steamburg, Becky S. John of Bath, NY., Scot E. Conklin of Steamburg, Bradley J. Conklin (Regina) of Randolph and Terry L. Conklin (Kim) of Little Valley; and her sister Edith "Sis" Hoxie (Ray) of Cattaraugus. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home (14 Church St, Randolph, NY 14772).
