He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kankolenski and Ann Kankolenski (Gebczyk); his wife Marilyn Ruth Kankolenski (Martino); and his brother Frank Kankolenski. He is survived by: his children, Dana Ann Kankolenski, Kristen Mayrose (Kankolenski), Paul C. Kankolenski (Jenna) and Michael J. Kankolenski (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Nicholas J. Mayrose, Christopher M. Mayrose, Kaitlyn G. Mayrose, Abigayle G. Kankolenski, Isabella M. Kankolenski, Christian F. Kankolenski and Vincent M. Kankolenski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (4671 Townline Rd, Ransomville, NY 14131). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorial offerings may be made to Catholic charities, St Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.

“Paul, may you be found in God's embrace. Cousin Paul and his brother, Frank lived two blocks away . We functioned as one family. Our extended family was composed of the parish of Saint Michael's Polish National Catholic Church. Paul, you will be missed but never forgotten.”
