With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. MacIntyre III in Ravena, New York, born in Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 65. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine Sorell Macintyre; his siblings-in-law, John, Rosemary Albano and Frank Sorell, Jr.; his sibling's children, Justin, Jonathan Albano, Beth and Karen Albano; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter, Caidyn and Lukas Albano; and his cousins, Nancy Newburg, Lou Newburg V, Tracy, Steve Douglas and Juliette Henry.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Babcock Funeral Home (19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
