He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen R. Lyman and Catherine F. Lyman (Palmer); and his siblings, Stephen Lyman Sr., Thomas Lyman, Frank Lyman and Mary Lyman.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Bruce Myers (Melissa) and Michael Myers (Jennifer); his sister Dorothy Carras; Paul M. Lyman, Jr. (Jennifer), Angela J. Dimura (Randy DeBacco), Diane C. Purcell (Sam), Jaclyn N. Williams (Brandon), Edward P. Lyman (Erin Lamoree), Barbara J. Langdon (Leroy) and Gerry L. Kohler. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
