He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph D. Carhart and Geraldine Carhart (Schermerhorn); his sister Mary Helen Shonk; his in-laws, Frank and Clara Altimari; and his siblings-in-law, Luther Fourman Jr. and Tina Carhart.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Ralph C. Carhart Jr. and Nicole M. Carhart; his grandchildren, Taylor Augar (Tommy), Dalton Augar, Finnegan King and Castin Carhart; his great grandchildren, Jameson Matusie, Milliana Mae Matusie and Stella Augar; his brother Thomas Carhart; his brother-in-law Bruce Shonk; and his aunt Susan Meyers (John). He is also survived by his family, both his wife and kids, as well his late sister and her husband.
