He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lachnicht Sr. and Adelia Becker Lachnicht; his son Jon Lachnicht; his granddaughter Taylor; and his brother Frank Lachnicht.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stevens Lachnicht; his children, Christine Lachnicht of Red Creek, Karen Merrill (Andrew) of Lodi and Jeffrey Lachnicht (Lacretia) of Brookville, PA; his grandsons, William Lachnicht, Michael Lachnicht, Alec Lachnicht and Ethan Lachnicht; and his sibling's children, Lisa and Michael.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (6927 Main St, Red Creek, NY 13143). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the St. Thomas Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make contributions in George's name they may do so to Lake Shore Ambulance, or the Red Creek Fire Department.
