It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred C Cartier of Red Hook, New York, born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cartier and Antoinette Cartier (Gallup); and his brother William Cartier. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Y. Cartier of Red Hook; his children, Susan Cartier (Pierre Pinard) of Voorheesville, NY and David Cartier (Caroline) of Red Hook, NY; his grandchildren, Claire, Zoé, Benjamin and Harold; and his siblings, John Cartier (Suzanne) of Manhattan, NY and Barbara Frederic (Eliot) of Sag Harbor, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and innumerable community friends.
