He is survived by: his parents, Lynn DeMers (Gillard) and James Neil Gillard of Elizaville, NY; his brother Grady Gillard of Red Hook, NY; his half-brother Chris Gillard of Florida; his aunts and uncles, Michael DeMers (Judith) of New Jersey, Carol DeMers (Toby) of Kingston, NY, Michelle DeRidder (Peter) of Lyons, NY, Beth Hapeman (Ron) of Elizaville, NY and Sean Gillard (Jeanne) of Germantown, NY.; and his pet Tanner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571).
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Rhinebeck Kids Benefit Inc/Friends Helping Friends, C/O CJ's Restaurant 353 Old Post Rd Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
