Judith A. Hester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith A. Hester of Red Hook, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kriss and Barbara Kriss (Kuhn); her husband Bill; and her brother Edward Kriss of Big Canoe, Georgia.. She is survived by: her children, Deborah L. Hester-Smith (David) of Kingston, Carolyn J. Hester of Red Hook, William D. Hester (late Raquel) of Meriden, CT and Gregory S. Hester (Lisa) of Glastonbury, CT.; her grandchildren, Evan Smith (Andrea Green), Lindsay Smith, Bryson, Alexis, Cole, Logan and Lucas Hester; and her children, Jennifer Kriss (Cory Russell) and Stephen Kriss (Rachel Padget).
Memorial donations may be made in Judy's memory to St. Christopher's Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571 as well as St. Jude's Hospital.
