Louis DeCarolis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis DeCarolis (Red Hook, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennifer DeCarolis and Peter DeCarolis; and his wife Lorraine. He is survived by: his children, Doreen, Glenn, Crystal (Aiello), Gregg, Denise (Bertodatto) and Claudine "Poops" DeCarolis; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Daniel Shafer, Cassandra, Kara Dunbar-Ruff, Marissa Ruff, Danielle, Drew and Devin DeCarolis; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Rupe-DeCarolis, Shea Karaline and Etta Lou Shafer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Christopher's Church (7411 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (7411 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
