The family announces the passing of William E. Flandreau of Red Hook, New York on October 8, 2026. William, born on November 17, 1937, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marr and Mary Elizabeth Kohn Flandreau; and his siblings, Jean Grattan, Mary Westbrook, Francis Flandreau and James Flandreau.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Nichols of Red Hook; his children, Jean Benkert of Kingston, NY, William Flandreau of Voorheesville, NY and Shannon Pagliaroni (Timothy) of Kerhonkson, NY.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Caity, Billy, Matthew, Sophia and Lia; and his sisters, Patricia Murray and Josephine Palen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (7411 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571).
