We bid farewell to Shirley K Yerden of Redfield, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 18, 2025 at the age of 94. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ouderkirk and Leita Wava Ouderkirk (Loveland); her husband Clifton "Pete" Yerden; and her brothers, Donald, Francis and Gordon Ouderkirk.
She is survived by: her former spouse Blossom Castor; her children, Jack, Dale and Dawn; her siblings, Jack Ouderkirk of Black Lake, Dale Ouderkirk (Gwen) of Sandy Creek and Dawn Vincent of Currie, NC.; her sons, Randy Yerden (Karen) of Redfield, Gregory Yerden (Nancy) of Redfield and Steven Yerden (Laura) of Redfield; and her caregivers, Carol, Nancy and Darcey. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redfield Fire Department.
