She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mahlan and Catherine Mahlan (Preston); and her siblings, William Mahlan, Robert Mahlan, Bryan Mahlan, Kathleen Fanto and Eileen Toomey.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Smith Sr. of Corinth; her sons, Robert Smith Jr. (Christine) of Staten Island and Bryan Smith (Marie) of Manhattan; her granddaughters, Catherine and Amanda Smith; and her brother John Mahlan of Oakdale, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
