He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Harrington and Abbey Harrington; and his brother Gerard. He is survived by: his daughter Saundra Harrington (Jovic Yabut); his wife Mary Harrington (McDaniel); his son Bernard (Jennifer); and his grandsons, Brian Yabut, Jeremy Harrington and Sebastian Harrington.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns, Inc. (61-40 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374). A Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Ascension Roman Catholic Church (85-25 61st Rd, Rego Park, NY 11374). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
