She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron and Sophia. She is survived by: her cousins, John Opuda (Lynn), Barbara DiVittorio, Anita DiVittorio, Phyllis Gomez (Pedro) and Gina Russ (Ed); her friend Jerome; John, Roseann, Michael, Steven, Tom, Diana, Jaclyn, Jennifer and Jessica.
During COVID, when her mother fell ill with Alzheimer's, Sonia diligently cared for her, mostly long distance.
