He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Smith and Leona Dillenbeck Smith. He is survived by: his wife Helen Osborn; his children, Connie Brown (Walter), Tammy Potter (Robert) and James Jr. Smith (Nicole); his grandchildren, Dougie Drake Jr., Raymond Drake, Josh Smith, James Smith III and Jimmy John Potter; his half-brother Wayne Smith; and his close friends, Doug Drake Sr., Bob and Tammy Vanhorne. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
