It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Earl Porter of Remsen, New York, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his mother Ruby Pearl Leslie; and his siblings, Geraldine, Gerald and Jean. He is survived by : his father Alton Joel Porter; his wife Penny; his children, Colleen Kiefer (Bill), Eilleen Hamlin (Ron), Scott Porter (Christine), Doug Porter (Suzanne), Amy Jones (Scott), Becky Ozog (Dave) and Cortney Meeker (Shannon); his grandchildren, Patrick Kiefer (Elenni), Hannah Harwood (John), Ryan Hamlin, Sean Hamlin (Ashley), Quinn, Elise Porter, Jessica, Jared (Delores), Jake Porter, Adam, Andrew Jones, Matthew, Michael Sypolt (Erin), Kade Ozog, Regan, Joshua and Luke Meeker; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by friends, hunting and fishing partners, cherished neighbors.
An auctioneer since his youth, he donated his services to several charity auctions annually.
