Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Patty Jeans Country Restaurant (8318 NY-28, Newport, NY 13416).
In lieu of flowers, the Porter family kindly asks those wishing to contribute to consider helping with Steve's Celebration of Life or with future memorial efforts being created in his honor. Contributions may be made toward the Celebration of Life, including food and supplies, or by donating a basket for the Chinese auction.
