He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Tonkin and Sarah Tonkin; his children, Mark Tonkin (MaryAnne), Michelle Tonkin and Terri Smith (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, David (Olivia), Andrea (Mike), Matthew (Charissa), Jonathan, Sarah and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Noah, Violet and Everett; and his brothers, Marvin and Earl Tonkin.
