It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick W. Lanz Sr. of Rensselaer, New York, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Desso (Jim), Frederick Jr. Lanz (Louise), Michelle Lanz-Correll and Philip Lanz; his sister Lorraine Newton (Gary); his close friend Rita Burns; his grandchildren, Alison Lanz (MacDonald), Erin Lanz, Derek Lanz (Isabella), Nathan Correll (Elyssa), Evan Desso and Makenzie Correll; and his great grandchildren, Margaret, Ellaina, Brody, Amelia and Calan.
