He was predeceased by : his parents, William H. Lauer and Margaret Lauer (Fisher). He is survived by : his wife Debra; his son Maxwell J. Lauer; his siblings, Lawrence Lauer (Kathleen), Linda Haggerty (Thomas), Deborah DeFilipo, Terrance Lauer, William Lauer (Denise), Karen Locey (Jack) and Brenda Fecketter (David); his brothers-in-law, Vincent Lefko (Michele Cappelletti) and David Lefko; and his close friend Johnny Pafundi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
