He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W. Lubbers and Wilhelmina F. Lubbers; and his sisters, Lamberdina Ooms, Johanna Hoyt and Berendina Barbin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Andrea; his pet Emmett; and his sister Wilma Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
