He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick John and Helen Schultz Sr. John; and his sister Helen Quinn (Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Marcia E. (Barlow); his children, Jeffrey M. Schultz, Kevin J. Schultz, Lisa A. Schultz (Colin) and Brian J. Schultz (Monica); his siblings, Fredrick Schultz Jr. (Priscilla) and Kathrine Stewart (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Brendan, Skyler and Avery. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
