Kenneth R. Downes Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Downes (O'Neil) and Gerald Downes; and his brothers, Gerald "Parker" and Joseph "Duffy". He is survived by: his sisters, Sheila Kelly (late Robert) of Sarasota, FL. and Patricia Schultz (late Ronald) of Cary, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church (53 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
