With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sanchez of Rensselaer, New York, who passed away on December 22, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel and Florence Burgey; her significant other Daniel J. Sanchez; her children, Daniel Sanchez, Jr. (Linda), Thomas Sanchez (Sandra), Mary Bauer (Charles Sr.) and Victoria Fluery (Mark); and her siblings, Beatrice Bentley, Patricia Burgey, Daniel Burgey and Lawrence Burgey. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
