He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Stickley and Henrietta M. Fowler Stickley; his wife Blanche E. Sperbeck Stickley; and his siblings, Thomas of Idaho Falls, Charlotte Bridgeford of Rensselaer and Mary Jane Wilson Lanier of South Carolina.
He is survived by: his children, Richard J. (Donna) of Summerville and Caroline E. Brooks (William) of Scotia, NY.; and his granddaughters, Suzanne Stickley Sheldon (Jack) of Kittery, Maine, Nicole Stickley of Summerville, SC, Caroline A. Brooks (Corey Bevilacqua) of Falmouth, MA and Samantha Brooks (Ian Strzelecki) of Saranac Lake, NY.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
Before passing, Richard designated that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Department at PO Box E, 2178 Tarrytown Road, Clarksville, NY 12041.
