Robert P. Conroy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert P. Conroy (Rensselaer, New York), who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannette Frederick and Robert F. Conroy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Conroy; his sons, Christopher Conroy (Kelly) and Daniel Mahar (Jennifer) of Blaine, MN; his grandchildren, Colin, Patrick and Elaina Mahar; and his siblings, Cynthia Conroy Smith, Tina DePaz of St. Petersburg, FL, Nicholas J. Conroy (Sabrina) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Scott A. Conroy of Jacksonville, FL.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
