He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alstyne and Alice M. Van Alstyne of Nassau, NY.; and his sister Janice Van Alstyne. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Van Alstyne; his children, Robert Van Alstyne and Amy Cirincione (John); his son-in-law John; his grandchildren, Christian, Juliet, Daniel and Maggie Cirincione; his sister Judith Selkirk (Ronald); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Sirigiano (Jane), Genevieve Zwick and Nancy Post (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
