He was predeceased by: his parents, Lubretta Kells and Charles C. Kells; his son William S. Kells; his siblings, Orma Jane Charter and Charles Kells; his granddaughter Ainsley Kells; and his nephew Jonathan.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Kells; his children, Kimberly Kells and Robert; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Kells; his grandchildren, Kasey, Alyssa, Korey Mizener (Sidney Perks), Drew Charron (Brian), Rylie Torres (Diego), Tatum Kells (Chris Shorter) and Robert Kells; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Addison, Ainsleigh, Arlo and Kennedy; his brother Jay Cottet (Marlene); his nephew Jason Cottet (Rachael); Siena.
