We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2024, at the age of 75, William Francis Gibney (Albany, New York), born in Queens, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Gibney and Lorraine Gibney (McCann). He is survived by : his wife Sharon Louise; his son Samuel Webster; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Barbara Cornell; his son William Azariah; his daughter-in-law Deborah Morgan; his daughter Sarah Andrea Hutchings; his son-in-law William Raliegh Hutchings; his grandchildren, Lily Eve and William James Hutchings; and his niece Kirsten Cornell.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. (165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203). The military honors was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
