She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carlton Babcock and Florence Evelyn Engdahl Babcock; her husband John Norris Smith; and her sibling Laurien B. Fan (late John). She is survived by: her children, Keith Fotheringham and Kim Fotheringham (Joy Tubbs); her sister Jacqueline B. Doane (late Harry); and her sibling's children, Sean Ward, Shannon Ward, Tim Doane (Kristen), Chris Doane (Carol), Eugene Doane (Sandra) and Elizabeth Doane (Jason).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home (1550 US-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
