Maria Rotondi Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Maria Rotondi of Rexford, New York. Maria, born on April 30, 1942, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Savona and Emilia Savona; and her siblings, Pasquale, Loreto, Domenico, Giuseppe, Annino Savona and Concetta DiVona.
She is survived by: her husband Antonio Rotondi; her children, Frank Rotondi (Cathy), Joseph Rotondi (Dan) and Maria Rosa Albanese (Rick); her grandchildren, Mark Rotondi, Philip Albanese (Christina) and Emily Albanese; and her sister Assunta D'Orazio (France) of Vitry. She is also survived by godchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (331 Seward Pl, Schenectady, NY 12305). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery (2501 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Schenectady, NY 12309).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Maria's memory may make a memorial contribution to support "Maria's Angels," a vision inspired by the caregivers who gave so much of themselves during her final months and dedicated to helping other families receive the care and compassion they need.
