Stephanie E. Van Auken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 79, Stephanie E. Van Auken of Rexford, New York, born in Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Tanski and Edith Tanski; and her husband James N. VanAuken. She is survived by: her children, Eric Schreifels (Melissa), Robert Schreifels (Maria), Scott Schreifels (Jackie Pinsonneault) and Stephanie Bridge; her sister Deborah Tanski; and her grandchildren, Erica, Gabrielle, Galina, Antonina, Cody (Patti), Seth, Veronika Schreifels, Kristiana, Joe (Sarah), Megan, Abigail Bridge, Jimmy Schreifels and Jessica Sharma (Puneet). She is also survived by Mama's she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Whether it be pizza at the Shen football games, food for the First Responders after a late-night call or providing meals on the holidays to First Responders and Law Enforcement, or staying open during a snow storm and most recently delivering meals to families, due to the Covid Pandemic.
The family requests no flowers be sent. Instead, donations may be made in her memory to the Harvest Church Food Pantry, 303 Grooms Rd., Halfmoon, NY 12065.
