She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Messina and Alice D. Ogle Messina; her husband Raymond R. MacDermott; her son Raymond J. MacDermott; her daughter-in-law Sally MacDermott; her granddaughter Marlena Thongpaithoon; and her great grandchild Joe Thongpaithoon.
She is survived by: her children, Carol A. Manning (Patrick) of Yuma, AZ, Sherri L. Corcoran (Michael) of Hyde Park, Thomas J. MacDermott (Maria) of Staatsburg, David A. MacDermott (Jeannine) of Holmes and Ricky A. MacDermott (Abbi) of Poughkeepsie; her daughter-in-law Tina Davis of Tennessee; and her sister Doris Serino of Poughkeepsie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
