He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lydon, and Charlotte Lydon, Sr. (VanDyke); and his siblings, Charlene Goodrich, Timothy Lydon, Carol Brightly and Mary Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Brewer of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Tracy Gardner (Keith) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Eleanor Lydon-Clements (Brian) of Red Hook and Edward "Teddy" Lydon of Elizaville; his grandchildren, Stephen (Heather), Cameron, Peyton Gardner, Madelyn, Gracyn Clements, Mason and Braelyn Lydon; and his siblings, Susan Moul of Red Hook, Randy Lydon of Barrytown and David Lydon of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
