As Eleanor departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eleanor leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Bianco and Marion Bianco (DeStefano). She is survived by: her children, Angelo Castello Germantown (Julia) and Lee Marion Horowitz (Richard) of Staatsburg, NY; and her great grandchild Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes (91 E Market St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd East Market St Rhinebeck (3 Mulberry St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572). A burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Sylvia's Cemetery (5195 NY-9G, Tivoli, NY 12583).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory to Hudson Valley Hospice, of whom have provided immense care for Eleanor during her final days.
