With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Rose Torcello of Rhinebeck, New York, born in Roosevelt, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois Pehr of Hungary and Rose Pehr of Austria; and her husband Reverend Leonard Thomas Torcello, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela (Torcello), Wayne Fenelon of East Hampton, NY, Judy (Torcello), Richard Crouse of Pepperell, MA, Michael, Kelly Torcello of Rhinebeck, NY, Amy (Torcello) and Adam Deutsch of Fairfield, CT.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Third Lutheran Church (31 Livingston St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rhinebeck Cemetery (3 Mill Rd, Rhinebeck, NY 12572).
