He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pitts Chapple and Irene Alexandra Chapple (Bishop). He is survived by: his wife Nina; his children, Alexander (Mala) and Sarah; his siblings, Judy, Harvey (Chris), Elizabeth Heersink (John) and Kathleen Maude; and his grandchildren, Zara, Harry and Gerald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald's memory to the Music Program at the Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck.
