“My name is Mark Herman and when Jon was a teenager he use to hang out at SPI where I was a wargame designer. For reasons known only to Jon he became my kid brother and we spent many hours testing games in the 70s. We stayed in touch over the ensuing decades. I last saw him in White Plains after his initial diagnosis and his courage was inspiring and helped me through my bout with cancer. I wanted to send my condolences and say my life is also a bit emptier now. May he Rest In Peace.”
