We announce the death of Lorraine Turra of Rhinebeck, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 92. Lorraine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Peterson and Catherine Peterson; her husband Harry Turra; her pet Butchie; her sister Dorothy; her uncle William Dischley; her nephew Michael Davanzo; and her brother-in-law Gene.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Rivera (Eric); her grandchildren, Meghan Libby and Tyler Figueroa; her great grandchildren, Alex Nesel (Faith), Cody and Caleb; her great great grandchild Ezekiel Alexander; her sisters, Judy Davanzo (Ronnie) and Carol Munch; her niece Jennifer Creter (Frank); her goddaughter Michele Niedermeier (Phil); and her niece Lisa Tieniber (Vinny).
