It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn E. Backus of Richfield Springs, New York, born in Ilion, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Backus and Reba Backus (Brewer); and his siblings, Ronald and Sandra. He is survived by : his wife Susan; his children, Edward James (Lori) of Mohawk, Thomas Henry (Noreen) of Ilion, Timothy Noel (Lynnette) of Tupper Lake and Deborah Lynn of Cookson, OK; and his stepson Christopher Bouck of Beebe, AR. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
