He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Taber and Gwen Taber (Owen); his wife Jean Taber; his significant other Julienne Monroe; and his cousin Paul Girsdansky.

He is survived by : his niece Pamela Vedder-Miller (Gary); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madalyn and Marissa; his cousins, Kathleen A. Henry-Girsdansky and Gwendolyn Girsdansky Matson (Zachary); and also Bryer William Matson.
