He was predeceased by : his father Robert L. Sr. Gilbert. He is survived by : his mother Marilyn Gilbert (Carris) of Ripley, NY; his siblings, Crystal Ottaway (Scott) of Mayville, NY, Robert L. Gilbert Jr. (Luanne Elder) of Westfield, NY, Mark Gilbert of Ripley, NY, Gerald Gilbert (Melodye) of Glennallen, AK and Mike Perdue (Tina); and his goddaughters, Kalyn and Taylor Perdue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
