He was predeceased by: his parents, May Townsend Jones and Chester Prince Jones. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Elliott Jones; and his children, Ronny Lynn, Carol Louise Gooding, Scott Elliott Jones (Terri Tucker Jones), Vannessa May Jones and Robert T Jones (Diane Heirhoffer Jones). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
