In the vast expanse of eternity, Alberta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alberta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard B. Austin; her son Michael Austin; her brother Raymond Barend (Elane); and her parents, Bernard Barend and Rose Barend.
She is survived by: her daughter Patti Gillespie (Timothy); her granddaughter Cori Kenney (David); her great grandchildren, Grace and Quinn Kenney; and her brother Harold Barend. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
