We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 75, Alice D. Green (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Alice has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Short and Betty Short; and her siblings, Sally Benson and Charlie Short. She is survived by: her husband Richard Green; and her siblings, William Short (Debra), Stephen Short, Deborah LeoGrande (Frank) and Audrea Triplett (Val).

A reception will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626).

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Alzheimer's Association Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter at https://www.alz.org. or to The Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 in memory of Alice.
