He is survived by: his wife Nettie Mae Sutton; his children, Alton Sutton Jr., Linda Ashford, Altonette Sutton, Gwendolyn Foster (Bobby), Quentin Sutton (Pamela) and Daniel Sutton (Sheila); his grandchildren, Deidra, Latoya, Latisha, Quentina, Alton, Charles, Catherine, Justin, Quentin, Shawntineek, Lorne, Daniel Jr., Mary-Carmen, Azaria and Denzel; his siblings, Wilmer Sutton, Barbara Parker and Patricia Sutton; and his friend Bob Wise. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
